Dan and Connie , #0303010805: Christopher committed suicide at the age of 17. Please pray for his soul. Pray for his loved ones to live without him. He was not my son but was engaged to my dauaghter. Therefor I had accepted him as one of my own. He knew I'd think about following him. His last letter to me told me so. I think about him 24/7. He's my first thought in the morning and the last thought at night.I am haunted by his passing and wonder if he made it to Heaven. He was a great Christian always helping others. He even visited his church and people there the same day he died. He died on the church grounds, alone and lost. He was involved in the youth group and helped build a new additon to the church. For his services we sat in pews he helped put in. I think he must be in Purgatory, visiting us many times. Please pray for me, I fear I will follow. I have a young family who needs me. I am just so hurt and lost.
Elena, #03010901: We praise and thank our dear Lord, for the passing of Howell Morgan, December 29th, in God's love and peace,after his wife, Anita, was enjoying him all day, and he ate his lunch and she was by his side all day. He passed away as soon as she left for the evening to go home.  Anita said that the nurses said he went in peace, and I truly believe Howell was finally called by our Lord, after the prayer groups around the world prayed for his soul to be returned to the Love of His Creator. Praise God. Howell was moved into a nursing home about 2 weeks before his death, and he did become a little more alert and he also ate more food.  I'm told by his wife.  I do believe the dear Lord did not want to lose Howell's soul, and once I sent you the message, the prayers never stopped for him.  (November 17th, I believe). Sue, #03021501: Al-Faki Hassan, a Sudanese man of God who suffered greatly for his faith, has died. He and one of his six children were in an auto accident just before Christmas, we just learned. After a day in a coma, Al-Faki went home to be with our Lord. This shocked his family, who fled to the United States to escape harassment, imprisonment, grave illness and execution for their Christian faith.

The surgery which was expected to take 2 hours, only took about an hour and a half until they called with word they were closing and he would soon be in recovery.  It was a Benign Fibrous Tumor of the pleura [outside covering of the lung if I understood correctly] also known as:  Benign Mesothelioma. My family and I will never be able to thank you all enough for your continuous prayers for Daddy and all of us these past 2 months.  We know Daddy has a long recovery ahead [as his surgery was the equivalent of open heart surgery, but didn't directly involve the heart], so we would ask that you please continue to lift Daddy and us as he recovers.  It will be a task in a couple weeks to keep him from doing things he's not supposed to do.

Carnes, Kathi, #03041101: My husband who died March 4, was baptized Baptist.  He developed a relationship with our parrish priest over the past few months before he died at the age of 42.  The priest gave Greg last rites at the hospital, and then I remembered that Greg wasn't baptized Catholic.  The priest was surprised because he had many long talks with Greg, and thought for sure that my husband was Catholic. Well, I guess my husband is Catholic now, and I would appreciate any prayers for him.  You see, until he met me 3 1/2 years ago, he was an alchoholic, drug abuser, and a theif.  He changed his life to where he quit all that, and was trying to go the right way in life.  The parrish priest explained his early death  to me as "You see, Greg finally straightened his life out with the Lord, and it was God's way of taking him home before he could do anything else!"  At the time I did not understand, but as I read more on the websites and the Bible, I think I understand what happened in his life.  Thank you for praying for him. His name is Gregory John Carnes.

WJB, #03062801: On our way to the city yesterday (June 27,2003) we passed a single car accident along a lightly wooded section of the highway. The vehicle was heavily damaged in the front and the police were on the scene. Later we found out that the 23 year old young man driving the vehicle had lost control and run off the highway into the ditch. The accident cost him his life. Cliff, #04012101: Dear Family, Friends and Prayer Partners. This morning (Wednesday 21 Jan.) at 9.45 local time Jenny went to be with the Lord whom she loved very much and served for 45 years. I am so glad that the did not suffer. Yesterday I gave her some soup for lunch using a syringe and she fell asleep at 1.30 PM she did not wake up again although I waited until 9PM. At about 6PM Jenny was groaning but not from pain. As I came closer to her I distinctly heard her say the name "Jesus". I think that she was praying. Two nights before one of the nurses told me that Jenny was praying in English most of the night. Jenny was to come home from the hospital today but while I was waiting for her to come I received a phone call from the hospital saying that Jenny had died. At Jenny's request we are asking that instead of sending flowers people give a donation towards buying an ECG machine for the oncology ward of the Rijeka hospital. Jenny's departing this world is a great loss to me and to the church which we pastored together. Jenny was a real "Help mate" as the KJV so aptly although quaintly puts it, a real partner in marriage and in ministry. She was my best friend, faithful companion and wise counselor.  She will be deeply missed by the many people who loved her. Her faith in her Saviour Jesus Christ never wavered despite her battle with cancer. She died as she lived completely trusting Him. Thank you so much for your prayers for Jenny. Allison, #04062301: Many of you may remember little Mattie Stepanek, the young boy who inspired millions in his struggle with a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy. He was a frequent guest on Oprah as well as many other shows. This special child was gifted in a way that he amazed me. He was truly an "old soul" and a rare gift this world has lost. Mattie passed away yesterday at age 13. His 3 older siblings had all died of Muscular Dystrophy and his mother was afflicted with this horrid disease as well, so he knew his life might be short. A child prodigy who wrote beautiful poetry far beyond his years, he will be missed by many who saw him as a bright and shining light.
